The platform Spotler Activate Search (previously Sooqr) optimizes your site-search. They do this by offering the best results your customer is looking for, adding promotional banners, analyzing the search results and helping with synonyms for search queries that have little to no results.

Adding Spotler Activate to Spotler Activate Search

When connecting Spotler Activate to Spotler Activate Search Search, the combination of website behavior is added to the already customized results of your search bar. Based on the Spotler Activate cookie Spotler Activate Search can get the favorites of the customer and add this to their search results. Spotler Activate adds favorite categories, brands, color and size to the profiles by default, but you have the possibility to have more productfields added as a customer favorite.

To do this, go to Products > Source in Spotler Activate and click on “New product custom field” at the bottom right:

Give your field a name and type and check the “Save customer favorites”. From now on Spotler Activate will look at all the viewed and purchased products and save the value which is most common for this customer in the favorite field.

Based on results of other customers, we found that for the best uplift in conversion based on search, it is best to have a minimum of 3-5 additional favorite fields in your products. Look at the product attributes which tell the most about your customers to determine which could be saved as a favorite.

A few things you can check in your current account;

Are the categories uploaded in Spotler Activate the same as in Spotler Activate Search? To match the favorite category (and brand) to the products this is important.
Do you have productfields that are good to save as customer favorite? As mentioned 3-5 additional favorites are good for conversion uplift.

Don’t have Spotler Activate Search yet?

No problem! Within Spotler Activate you can use the Spotler Activate Search app to create a trial account of 30 days.

In the next screen select that you want to get started with a new account.

Fill in your preferred account details and we will create the Spotler Activate Search account for you. The products that are now in Spotler Activate will be synced to the Spotler Activate Search account automatically and you can add the Spotler Activate Search script to the already existing Spotler Activate script, which will have Spotler Activate Search running on your site in no-time.
