Implementing Klaviyo consists of establishing the Klaviyo connection and synchronizing profiles to Klaviyo.

Establishing a connection

Klaviyo can be connected to Squeezely as follows:

  • Login to Klaviyo

  • In Klaviyo go to 'Profile ' Account' in the top right of the dropdown.

  • Then go to 'Settinngs ' API Keys

  • On this page you will find the "Public API Key" of your Klaviyo account.

  • For the connection between Klaviyo and Squeezely you also need a "Private API Key". You can easily create this key by clicking on the "Create Private API Key" button.

  • You can then label this key (with for example "Squeezely") and through the eye icon you can view the key.

Next, the following needs to be implemented in Squeezely:

  • Login to Squeezely

  • Go to Settings → Channels → Klaviyo

  • Copy the values 'Public API Key' and 'Private API Key' from Klaviyo and paste them in Squeezely

     

  • Click on "Save Channel."

    The pairing is complete.

Synchronizing profiles

For real-time synchronization of (new) profiles from Squeezely to Klaviyo, the following is required:

  • Create an Advanced Audience with the following rules:

     

     

  • Check the Klaviyo channel in the Audience Builder

  • Click on ‘Save Audience’

  • Go back to Settings → Channels → Klaviyo

  • Select the Audience as Newsleter list in the last dropdown

(New) profiles that leave their email address will be synchronized to Klaviyo in real time.
