Make automation in Mailchimp (EN)

To select a trigger in the Journey Builder, you need to create an automation in Mailchimp.

Creating an automation

  • In Mailchimp go to auotmations and mak e new customer journey

  • Give your journey a name and continue

  • As a starting point you choose API & Integrations > Event API

  • In this starting point you give a unique ‘Event name’

 

  • In Squeezely you can use the same event name in the email node

  • When a profile reaches the email node, Squeezely will send an API call with this event name to Mailchimp to start the journey. You can check this in the contact’s acivity

Please note! When a contact should get the automation multiple times, you should check the box at “Contact repeats journey”
