GatorMail (EN)

The GatorMail link allows you to synchronize data between Squeezely and the Email Service Provider (ESP) GatorMail. Through the link, audiences, profiles, triggers and product sets from Squeezely can be sent to GatorMail.

Implementation

To implement the GatorMail link:

By completing the full implementation, email addresses and consent will be synchronized between GatorMail and Squeezely once. In addition, the default profile fields are synced from Squeezely to GatorMail. After establishing the link, the following data is synchronized:

  • Email addresses: new email addresses are synced in real time from Squeezely to GatorMail. From GatorMail, new email addresses are synced daily to Squeezely.

  • Consent: Consent changes are synced in real time from Squeezely to GatorMail. GatorMail syncs changes to Squeezely on a daily basis.

  • Profile Fields: With each API call, the standard profile fields are sent from Squeezely and stored in GatorMail. Squeezely also retrieves the profile fields from GaterMail through a daily import.

Audiences & Profiles

In the Audience Builder you can send Audiences to GatorMail by checking GatorMail as Channel:

For the audience, Squeezely updates the following information in GatorMail:

  • At profile level → contact: the profile fields of the profiles in the audience

  • At audience level → groups: the information about the audience such as name, description and date created

  • In GatorMail, go to Contacts and locate the profile

  • Click on the profile

Triggers & Productsets

In the Journey Builder you can send triggers to GatorMail with the Email trigger:

In the Email trigger you can set the following:

  • Campaign: The campaign that will be triggered in GatorMail

  • Products: The product set that will be sent to the campaign

  • Filter empty product sets: the option not to send a trigger when the product set is empty

For the profiles that reach the Email trigger and meet the conditions, Squeezely sends an API Call to GatorMail:

  • Campaign: with this API call, a trigger for a campaign is sent for the profile and possibly the product set of the profile is also sent.

In Squeezely you can view the status of the trigger as follows:

  • In Squeezely, go to 360° Profiles

  • Find the profile that reached the Email trigger in the journey

  • Go to 'Activity' in the profile and select 'Automations'

  • In this overview you will see the following:

    • Journey: the ID of the relevant journey

    • Buffer endtime: The time the trigger was sent to GatorMail

    • Handled: whether the trigger has been handled in Squeezely

    • Sent: whether the trigger was sent to GatorMail

    • Channel: the channel that has been triggered

In GatorMail you can view the triggered campaign as follows:

  • In GatorMail, go to Contacts

  • Find the profile and click on 'History'

  • Click on 'All Activities'

In this overview you can see the campaigns that have been triggered for the profile.
